ADU's (Accessory Dwelling Units) are fast becoming the solution for more living space on single building lot. ADU's average between 500 SF and 1000 SF. ADU's may be attached to a main home or detached on the same property. We offer traditional stick built or custom modular built ADU's of various sizes and designs.

Can ADU's be used as a primary home? Yes, ADU is just a term used to describe them as additional living space on a lot shared with another primary home but they are really are nothing more then a small home.
Are they cheaply built? No, they are built no differently then a normal house, a major difference is usually is the lack of a full basement, they are often built on a crawl space or even a slab but they can be built over a full basement. And we can install any and all types of high end features from marble floors to whole house automation systems.
What type of HVAC system is usually installed in them? By far heat pumps (Mini Splits) are the most common system we install in them due to there efficiency and easy of installation.
How do we finance our ADU project? Unlike a typical home build project you can not utilize a normal construction loan. A ADU is considered an addition on to your current property and you would need to use a home equity line of credit, refinance with cash out or other type of loan to finance your project.
